I started using my Holoseat in September… After work I come home and play Shroud of the Avatar instead of watching TV. I have dropped 30 pounds in six weeks by using my Holoseat and watching what I eat. – Briluuria

How I Holoseat – Arabella Edition

Over the next several weeks we are asking our Alpha Testers to share with us how they are using Holoseat. First up is Arabella. You may recognize her from an earlier post when she was the first tester to take possession of a Holoseat.

This is my setup. I use it for both gaming and work which works well so I can continue with regular cycling during work time. — Arabella

Arabella, you are not alone in taking advantage of having your Holoseat under your desk during the day. Brootus has also shared with us that he pedals during work as well as part of his gaming. #DoubleDuty

Five years ago today I published the first commits of Holoseat’s design online, paving the way for Bryan to build his own copy and starting us out on this wild ride. Now here we are today at the start of alpha testing and preparing to bring Holoseat to market. Here’s to 5 more years and many, many more Holoseats!

Finally Turning the Corner

We usually save new burn down charts for stand up posts. But, this one was too good to hold for a full week. We have completed assembly on all of the controller housings and finished testing the 3D printed parts for the tone rings, closing much of the gap toward finishing the sprint on time. Woot!
