One week to go in the sprint and it will all come down to how quickly our team of volunteers, contractors, plus Bryan, and I can wrap up manufacturing of the Alpha test units.  While we would like to be further along (as shown by our burn down chart), we have a couple of weeks after the sprint ends before SyndCon and we are confident we will deliver the Alpha units at con.

It may not look like it from the burn down chart, but we are officially in the home stretch.  The last remaining task of significant size is building the tone rings and we are on track to make significant progress on that front this week.  Plus the sensors are all done and the controllers should be done soon.

The burn down chart looks worse than it really is.  We have pretty much made the turn into just grinding out units for our Alpha Testers, demos, and raffle prizes at SyndCon.  Which means we have several large tasks that will sit open until all of our build work is done.  That, and we hit a slow down around the 4th of July holiday.  Time to get back to work.

Alpha controller assembled on my workbench.  Not the clearest pictures, but my workbench in the garage doesn’t exactly have stellar lighting.  I’ll add some better pictures once I get a chance.

Lots of great progress on the controller housing this week, including assembling our first true alpha Holoseat!  Also getting ready to fully engage with our testers now that we are in the home stretch of building the alpha units.
