{"id":195,"date":"2016-11-30T21:02:24","date_gmt":"2016-12-01T02:02:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.modelb.biz\/?p=195"},"modified":"2016-11-30T21:02:24","modified_gmt":"2016-12-01T02:02:24","slug":"an-overview-of-sprint-6-and-what-happened-to-sprint-5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.modelb.biz\/an-overview-of-sprint-6-and-what-happened-to-sprint-5\/","title":{"rendered":"An Overview of Sprint 6 and What Happened to Sprint 5"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So we dropped off the face of the Earth for a bit didn\u2019t we? \u00a0Holoseat development isn\u2019t completely frozen, but life has seriously gotten in the way since mid September. \u00a0Sprint 4 got us to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.modelb.biz\/demos-panels-and-podcasts-holoseat-at-syndcon-2016\/\">SyndCon<\/a>, but Sprint 5 <a href=\"https:\/\/opendesignengine.net\/boards\/36\/topics\/1211?r=1214#message-1214\">crashed and burned<\/a>. \u00a0We\u2019re putting it behind us and <a href=\"https:\/\/opendesignengine.net\/boards\/36\/topics\/1217\">moving forward<\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So now we\u2019re on to the next sprint. \u00a0This one has a slightly different focus than others we\u2019ve tried before. We are are preparing the project for submission to the Open Source Hardware Association (OSHWA) for their newly announced open source hardware certification. \u00a0In fact, if you review their <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.oshwa.org\/2016\/10\/07\/announcing-the-oshwa-open-source-hardware-certification-program\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">announcement<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, you\u2019ll see Holoseat is on the list of companies that have said we will submit before the end of this year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-196 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.modelb.biz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/oshw-logo-200-px.png\" alt=\"oshw-logo-200-px\" width=\"190\" height=\"200\" \/> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What does this mean for long term goals? \u00a0For starters, it means we\u2019re committing to keeping this project as Open Source Hardware, something we both feel very strongly is important. \u00a0It also means we\u2019re making a commitment to not let our documentation get quite so far behind as we have this past year. \u00a0This is particularly important for those that have offered to help us with development, testing, and other aspects of the product. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Want to get involved?
